Doctors saved the life of a nearly-full term baby whose mother died when she was run over by her husband's truck, Houston police say.
Police said no charges were filed over Monday's accident. KPRC-TV reports authorities said the baby was delivered at 36 weeks and was hospitalized in stable condition.
Police said the couple apparently argued over repairs for her car.
Investigator Rolando Saenz said the husband said he didn't have the money to get her car fixed. Saenz said the pregnant woman was holding on to the driver's door when her husband began to pull away.
Police said the woman slipped, fell and accidentally was run over by the truck. She died at a hospital, where doctors delivered her baby.
Further details on the family weren't immediately released.
