Police said they arrested a man that led officers on a chase through Tarrant County early Wednesday morning.
Fort Worth police pulled the man over for a traffic violation near the intersection of East Rosedale Street and Riverside Drive before 4 a.m.
Officers saw the man was wanted for a parole violation and asked him to turn off his vehicle. Police said the man then drove away.
Police said they pursued the man north on Interstate 35W and then east on Interstate 30.
The man stopped just inside the Arlington city limits after his car had mechanical problems. Police said they took the man into custody with out further incident.
Authorities said the man will be charged with evading arrest in a vehicle, possession of a control substance and a parole warrant.
No injuries were reported.
