A truck carrying cartons and bottles of milk overturned early Wednesday morning, snarling traffic on a freeway ramp in Dallas.
According to Dallas Sheriff's deputies, the driver of a truck hauling milk was traveling too fast around a curve, causing his truck to overturn.
The truck crashed around midnight on the ramp from southbound Interstate 45 to eastbound Interstate 30, near downtown Dallas.
The truck was fully loaded with bottles and cartons of milk. Truck crews were able to get the truck on the side of the road.
The trailer will have to be unloaded before the truck can be righted. Some milk cartons and bottles inside the truck broken during the crash and spilled milk into the trailer.
Crews are working to upright the truck now.
Traffic officials were initially concerned the crash and ramp shut down would delay rush hour traffic. However, officials re-opened the ramp around 2:17 a.m. Wednesday, allowing traffic delays to unwind.
