Two boys killed Monday will be buried this weekend in Dallas.
Naim Muhammad, 5, and Elijah Muhammed, 3, died Monday. Their father, 32-year-old Naim Muhammed, is accused of drowning them in a creek after he took them from their mother while they were on their way to the first day of school.
Muhammad, 32, confessed to police following his arrest later that day. He is currently being held on $2 million bond.
Visitation for the boys is Friday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. The funeral is at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
In a pending matter, Muhammad has been charged assault causing bodily injury for allegedly striking the boys' mother in the face with his fist and then attempting to flee with one of his sons in February. He previously received five years' probation after pleading guilty to hitting his sister in the head with a hammer in 2009.
The family has been under watch by Texas Child Protective Services since January.
