The Colony police are looking for a man responsible for killing a mother of two young girls in an armed robbery Wednesday morning.
Surveillance video shows a man walking into the Rapido Convenience Store in the 7400 block of Main Street, demanding money and then shooting 31-year-old store co-owner Samira Siwakoti in the face, according to authorities.
Police said it appears from surveillance video that Siwakoti did not try resist in any way. The man was able to escape with money from the cash register.
"They didn't deserve it," store sales representative Noelle Mosher said. "I just wanted to give my sympathy to them and let them know we're thinking about them. Everyone in the community loved them."
Siwakoti was the mother of two girls, ages 9 months and 2-years-old.
Her husband is surrounded by family and friends.
