Arlington police said they had been looking for the suspect since Aug. 26, when a 16-year-old girl reported that a man exposed himself from his car two times that week near the 2700 block of Legends Way on her way to school.

A Sam Houston High School resource officer found the vehicle that matched the student’s description on Friday after noticing the car was illegally parked. The officer saw that the person inside the car matched the description the student had given the previous week.

Police said the man’s pants were down when they found him Friday, but “there were no children present.”

The student originally didn’t report the indecency when she first said it happened on Aug. 22, but once she saw the same car again on Aug. 26 she wrote down a license plate and reported the situation to police.

Police said the man has been caught and the investigation will continue.
