Homicide detectives in Fort Worth are working to piece together a deadly shooting early Monday morning.
Officers responded to the shooting at an apartment in the 2200 block of Evans Avenue after 4:30 a.m., said K.D. Rowell, Fort Worth police lieutenant.
A tenant found the victim on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound, Rowell said.
The man, aged 50 to 70-years-old, was pronounced deceased when paramedics arrived at a local hospital.
No further information was released.
