An Irving Middle School was evacuated Wednesday morning over concerns about a strong smell of gas, officials said. Students are now back in class.
Irving Fire-Rescue was at the scene of Travis Middle School, which was evacuated for about an hour as a precaution.
Irving fire officials found nothing and gave the clear to return to class. All students are back in class and parents were notified, a district spokesperson said.
