Firefighters have been battling a blaze in a pasture of a farm in Ferris.
Bales of hay caught fire at Hughey Farms off Farm to Market Road 660 about 20 miles south of Dallas in Ellis County.
The Horman family sent pictures to isee@nbcdfw.com that show fire and smoke on the northeast pasture corner.
The family believes fireworks started the fire in the pasture July 4.
Firefighters from Bristol and Ferris have been battling the flames and say it'll take at least another day or two to put the fire out.
