Firefighters battled a fast moving brush fire in Mesquite in a blazing hot sun and temperatures near triple digits Sunday.
The blaze broke out around 2 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Cold Spring Court.
Firefighters said the fire wasn't fast-moving and that they weren't worried about the fire spreading to nearby homes.
There have been no reports of injuries or lost property.
