A small luggage TUG vehicle caught on fire at Dallas Love field.
An NBC 5 viewer tweeted a photo of the scene showing smoke on the tarmac near a Virgin America Airbus A319.

An airport spokesperson confirmed to our media partners at The Dallas Morning News that a TUG hauling luggage carts emitted black smoke near Gate 13. The TUG vehicle was undergoing scheduled maintenance when it caught on fire, Virgin America said in a statement.
The vehicle was not connected to any aircraft and was only parked near the plane, the statement said.
Airport officials said the fire was put out immediately by a fire extinguisher.

The area has been given the "all clear."
The flight, Virgin America 770, was schduled leave for LaGuardia Airport at 4:50 p.m. Departure was delayed due to weather in the East Coast, airline officials said.
No injuries were reported.
