A body was recovered Saturday afternoon from the waters of Mountain Creek Lake in southwest Dallas.
Dallas police said a person called them saying a body was in the water. Crews pulled the body, which police described as almost skeletal remains, from the water.
Police said due to the decomposition, it is unknown the age or gender of the victim.
The body was taken to the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
