Dallas police say there have been at least three robberies that involved machetes within two weeks.
The first attack happened on May 12 when a man parked in his car was held up by someone with a gun in one hand and a machete in the other. That person ran off with the victim's wallet and phone.
The second attack happened on May 20. This time, two men held up a man around 5:15 a.m. on the 7600 block of Indian Ridge Trail.
Police said one held up a gun and the other a machete to his back.
That same day, just before 6 a.m., another man was held up on the 5100 block of Mark Trail Way while he checked his mail. This time, the victim was shoved to the ground, then kicked in the head, before the robbers took off with his wallet and phone.
Police are not sure if all three attacks are related.
