An injured worker at a construction site near American Airlines Center in Uptown Dallas had to be rescued by firefighters Wednesday.
Dallas Fire-Rescue said they were called to perform a technical rescue at the site along the 2500 block of Alamo Street.
The condition of the worker, and the cause of the injury, is not yet known.
The rescue took place where a large, multi-story building is being constructed east of the arena on the corner of Houston and Payne streets.
