The Bandidos Motorcycle Club called for Waco police to share video and autopsy reports Monday relating to a bloody melee that left nine people dead, 18 injured and 177 arrested last month.
In a statement, Stephen Stubbs, an attorney representing the club, accuses the Waco Police Department of repeatedly misleading the press and public with false information and withholding evidence from the deadly shooting at Twin Peaks.
βThe release of the video and/or autopsy reports would simply clear up rampant misinformation,β Stubbsβ statement read. βIf the Waco Police Department didn't want to interfere with the investigation or influence a potential jury pool, it should not have released its false narrative in the first place and instead should have stayed silent during the entirety of the investigation.β
The Bandidos were among numerous groups attending a May 17 gathering of motorcycle clubs in Central Texas.
NBC 5 previously reported the Bandidos were angry at the Cossacks for wearing a Texas insignia on their jackets and planned a meeting with other biker groups in Waco, police said.
The Cossacks were not invited but showed up anyway, taking over parts of the Twin Peaks restaurant and lining the parking lot with sentries, or lookouts, police said.
"Cossacks threatened that Waco was a 'Cossacks' town' and nobody else could ride there," wrote one investigator in newly-released court documents. "The large number of Bandidos and their supporters showed up β¦ because the Bandidos wanted to have a show of force and make a statement that Waco was not the Cossacks' 'town.'"

The latest news from around North Texas.
A Bandido ran over the foot of a rival biker and the tensions quickly escalated, police said.
"Several of the Cossacks pulled their weapons, including handguns, as they stood on the patio and exited the patio," the investigator wrote. "Several Bandidos and Cossacks pulled out guns and knives and shot and stabbed each other."
Officers recovered 480 weapons and detained 239 people. Of them, 177 were arrested. Many have since been released on bond.
Stubb said the Bandidos are saddened by the incident and called the violence, "senseless, completely unnecessary, and wrong."
Waco police are expected to release an updated timeline of what happened sometime this week.
