A small North Texas city may have the youngest mayor in the Lone Star State.
JD Clark, 23, was sworn in as the mayor of Chico on Tuesday. He said he is looking forward to what's ahead.
"I think it'll be a good chance for me to show them the vision I have for the city, what I'm capable of and what we can all do working together," he said.
Clark has served as interim mayor since December. He was also on his hometown's City Council for two years.
He ran unopposed in last month's election.
