Three people have been found dead inside a Grayson County home that erupted into flames Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the 100 block of Keppler Road, outside of Van Alstyne, at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
Van Alstyne firefighters and other emergency authorities responded to the scene. Sheriff's deputies discovered three people inside the remains of the home, according to a sheriff's spokeswoman.
The identities of the three, and preliminary information on what caused their deaths, were not immediately released.
Grayson County Sheriff's Office has no history of calls to the home. The sheriff's department will lead the investigation into the incident, with assistance from the Grayson County Fire Marshal's Office.
Van Alstyne is located about 30 minutes north of McKinney.
