Repairs continued late Monday on a broken gas line in Southlake that forced an evacuation order for more than two dozen homes.
According to city officials, a plumber hit a natural gas line Monday afternoon along the 2900 block of Sutton Place.
There have been no injuries reported and 27 residences were evacuated only as a precaution.
Southlake Department of Public Safety officials said at about 1:45 a.m. Tuesday that the breach had been stopped, but that crews were still working on repairs in the area. They said the road would likely be closed until about 6 a.m.
