A deadly crash closed lanes of Interstate 35E at the US 67 split in Oak Cliff early Wednesday morning.
The crash happened around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday night.
Police say the truck left the roadway and hit one of the concrete columns supporting the bridge. The driver died at the scene, according to the Dallas Sheriff's Office.
Texas Department of Transportation engineers say they've inspected the bridge and don't believe there's any structural damage.
The road reopened at 7 a.m.
