There is a new face joining the NBC 5 Out of Bounds team, James Chippendale.
Chippendale, 40, runs CSI Entertainment Insurance.
He's seen a lot of success and a lot of heartache, he's also a survivor and as a bachelor he rolls with celebrities in Dallas pretty regularly.
"I've seen a lot and I've done a lot and I've been through a lot," said Chippendale.
At 31, he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia and doctors gave him a 50-50 chance of survival.
"When you get struck with a fist in the face, it really wakes you up, and you say, 'that's not really what it's all about,'" said Chippendale.
A bone marrow transplant saved his life. His near "carbon copy" donor, Klaus, was found in Germany.

His next project brings him to NBC 5's Out of Bounds, and a segment called "Last Call."
"I want to get deeper into the musician and the athlete and find out who they are and what they like to do and what inspires them," said Chippendale.
Chippendale's first guest is Marty Turco of the Dallas Stars, Last Call begins on NBC 5's Out of Bounds on Super Bowl Sunday.
